Our Company

Alaska's visitor industry continues to grow with travelers interest in Alaska's wilderness, wildlife, and Alaska Native culture. More people are interested in traveling independently, creating their own experiences and itineraries. As a result, CIRI formed a tourism division in 1997 to focus on soft-adventure activities, and it owns and operates custom tour packages built around the lodges and day cruises.

To develop and grow Alaska owned, premium quality tourism products, which provide customers with a safe, adventurous experience and exposure to Alaska's cultures and history; and offer CIRI shareholders future job opportunities, and a profit on their investment. Our Company

Cook Inlet Region Incorporated (CIRI), our parent company, is an Alaska Native corporation and one of 12 Alaska-based regional corporations established by Congress under the terms of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) of 1971. CIRI is owned by approximately 7,200 Alaska Native shareholders of predominately Athabascan and Southeast Indian, Inupiat and Yupik Eskimo and Aleut descent.

CIRI Alaska Tourism Corporation (CATC), a wholly owned subsidiary of CIRI, employees upwards of 500 staff during the summer season. CIRI owns a package tour and booking company: Alaska Heritage Tours; three lodges: Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, Seward Windsong Lodge and Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge; and three wildlife viewing boat cruise companies: Kenai Fjords Tours, Prince William Sound Cruises & Tours and Mariah Tours.
