Alaska Lodges

CIRI Alaska Tourism currently operates three lodges, each sited near breathtaking sightseeing and soft-adventure destinations. We pride ourselves on helping to create memorable vacation experiences, and enjoy sharing our knowledge and love of Alaska with our guests.

Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge

Talkeetna Alaskan LodgeThe 212 room Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, located just south of Denali National Park in Talkeetna, opened its doors in May 1999. Situated overlooking the Susitna and Talkeetna rivers, the lodge offers breathtaking views of Mt. McKinley and the Alaska Range.

The lodge is designed to support travelers seeking soft-adventure activities such as hiking, flightseeing, river rafting, jet boating and fishing trips. Conference and event facilities host groups seeking accommodations for their retreats and meetings.

The Foraker Dining Room is a full-service restaurant and lounge serving Alaska cuisine prepared by Chef Matt Zimney, who has been featured on the Food Network. The Base Camp Bistro and Bar offer more casual fare, and is host to the Alaska Climbers Wall of Fame. For the past four years in a row, the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge has received the presitigous Wine Spectator "Award of Excellence" for its wine and beverage list.

Seward Windsong Lodge

Seward Windsong LodgeCIRI purchased the Seward Windsong Lodge, five minutes north of Seward's Small Boat Harbor, in the summer of 1999. The lodge is open from May through September and offers spectacular views of a glacial river valley and mountain peaks.

Built in 1996 and opened in 1997, with expansions in 2001, 2007 and 2008, the lodge now features 180 rooms in a forested setting and a modern conference and banquet facility. The main lodge includes a sitting area with a rock fireplace, gift shop, tour desk, Internet station, espresso and snack bar.

The Resurrection Roadhouse Restaurant serves Alaska cuisine in a casual dining atmosphere with a scenic view of the Resurrection River Valley. The Resurrection Roadhouse Lounge, featuring the largest selection of draught microbrews on the Kenai Peninsula, is a favorite destination for tourists and locals alike.

Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge

Kenai Fjord Wilderness LodgeCIRI built the Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge in 1996, in the peaceful isolation of Fox Island. About an hour from Seward, in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula's Resurrection Bay, the island is accessible solely by boat. Beyond the reach of television, telephones, or the Internet, Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge offers visitors the opportunity to step away from the distractions of the modern world and into Alaska's frontier past.

The Day Lodge can accommodate up to 300 guests for a delicious wild Alaska salmon grilled to perfection and delicious prime rib meal, as they stop over on their Kenai Fjords Tours cruise. The lodge also features 8 private cabins, capable of hosting a total of 22 people overnight. Guests can book optional sea kayaking guided tours, or explore Fox Island, roughly three miles long and one mile wide.
