CATC Donations

CIRI Alaska Tourism Corporation (CATC) actively supports many non-profit organizations in Southcentral Alaska that we consider to be vital to the communities where we operate.  Donations are made to organizations that receive tax exempt 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service.

Our in-kind donation program focuses on the following:

• Youth and Education:  Organizations that support and provide educational opportunities and activities for youth (grades K to 12) with priority to projects that serve low-income and disadvantaged youth.
• Homelessness, Hunger and Health:  Organizations striving to decrease the number of people that are homeless and hungry in our community and also to those that provide preventive and primary health care.
• Arts and Culture:  Organizations that promote or benefit the arts and culture of Alaska with priority for projects that serve low-income or disadvantaged groups.

• Tourism and the Environment:  Organizations that promote tourism in Southcentral Alaska and support the environmental well being and education in the communities where we operate.

At the company’s discretion, requests are reviewed to determine whether they meet our established budget and guidelines.  We recognize that many organizations, events and projects are worthy of support and we donate to the extent possible.  CATC does not support the following:

• Individual or team sponsorships (sports or pageants)
• Recreational activities, such as camps, carnivals, prom and graduation nights
• Religious organizations, unless the program benefits the community at large
• Organizations that discriminate based on race, creed, color, sex or national origin
• Political organizations or activities

• Debt

If you think your organization or project may qualify and you would like to apply for an in-kind donation, please complete the Donation Request Form and fax or email at least three weeks prior to your event to:
